Thank You Note

Yummy camellia

This year’s crop of caterpillars would like to express their gratitude for the delicious camellia.

Fumbles and Eddie

Eddie the cactus is a handful for a clumsy little boy

Who needs a puppy anyway?

Revenge of the Rose

A spiney, prickly frond

After centuries of it’s blossoms being stolen, the rose began to produce nothing but coil after coil of thorns.

Wasp Waist

A bumble bee cheats its way to a wasp waist with a yellow corset

The bumble bee grew tired of being labeled “cute” and “fuzzy”, so she found a good tailor.

Rain Amplifier

drip, drip, drip, DRIP, DRIP, DRIP

For the first half of the shower you’ll be fine; the tree will block the little raindrops from you and gather them up just to release bigger, fatter raindrops later when you least expect it.

Mister Green Thumbs

I bet he picks his nose too

Are you good at gardening?

No, I like to finger paint with plant blood.

Camouflage Eggs

Hunting camouflaged easter eggs in the woods. What&squo;s behind that fern?!

Having at least one parent in the military makes the annual easter egg hunt very challenging.

Natural

Wicked purple toadstool and his buddies mean you terrible mischief

Just because it’s natural, doesn’t mean it’s good for you.

Lady Luck

Lady Luck

Luck be a lady tonight!

Buttercup

Hold the buttercup under your chin

In the summer, we used to pick buttercups. You hold one under your chin, and the yellow light reflecting up off it tells you how much you love butter.

Bonus! Found these little brooches I made some time ago, also with a buttercup theme. If anyone would like one, send an email to sandra@lunamatic.net, and I’ll pop it in the post for you. I have 6/8 left.

Small brooches with yellow beads

Warning: Contains small, shiny parts; do not give to magpies or children under three.
