I used to work in the supermarket. This is what I learned about packing groceries.
- Heavy stuff goes at the bottom
- It makes a good base to pack the rest of your stuff on
- Keep hot and cold items away from each other
- Bread, cereals and crisps make good buffers
- Light stuff goes on top
- Same with squashy stuff
